Roe vs. Wade

This project was made when the Supreme Court of the United States has voted to overturn abortion rights according to a leacked draft opinion. The draft opinion is a repudiation of the 1973 decision (Roe vs. Wade) which guaranteed federal constituional protection of abortion rights and a subsequent 1992 decision - Planned Parenthood vs. Casey. This would mean that women in the USA cannot have a legal, safe abortion in any case.

I got really angry when I read about this and felt that I had to raise my voice. Every woman should have the ability to choose for herself what to do with her own body. What kind of perspective do kids have if their mother doesn’t have a free choice what to do with an unwanted pregnancy? What kind of horrific situations do women need to go through if there is a medical reason to end a pregnancy?
