Who am I?

Our world gets more integrated with the digital universe. AI, robotics, smart devices, etc. are becoming indispensable elements in our lives. The key drivers to embrace these developments are convenience and making our day-to-day lives easier. But are we aware of the consequences? To what extend are we willing to let digital devices and technology interfere with and have control over our body and lives? Do we know where our boundaries are? Are we conscious about who we are and what we stand for? Are we strong enough to fight for what is important to us?

With transhumanism in mind, I started to ask these questions. But there was one question that really resonated and didn’t leave my mind; Who Am I? Do I know who I am? Do I know where I stand, what my boundaries are? Do I consciously know what my values and believes are and do I apply these to take certain decisions or influence my life? How can we expect from ourselves to do that in the future if we are not used to think that consciously about who we are today?

I decided to research my own thoughts about who I am using a form of meditation. I put myself in front of a mirror to have a conversation with myself about WHO AM I.

No rules, no right or wrong, just me and my thoughts wandering and flowing.
